Youth and Family Services Center
Welcome!
Lighthouse, Inc. is a private non-profit youth and family services center located in Catonsville, Maryland. Since 1971, Lighthouse has helped thousands of people who live, work, and attend school in southwest Baltimore County.
As a member of the Maryland Association of Youth Services Bureaus, Lighthouse provides counseling for children, youth, and their families. We sponsor workshops and distribute informational "tip sheets" on a variety of family-and-child-related topics, and we serve as an information and referral agency for our community. Lighthouse is also a training center for professionals who work with youth and families.
Community Support
At Lighthouse we make every effort to provide affordable and available counseling. We rely on the generous support of our community in order to keep our services affordable. State and local grants provide us with some of that support.

Mission Statement
We are committed to promoting a positive, healthy community that enhances the growth and development of children, youth, and families. At the direction of our Board, professional staff provide the following services: counseling for families, groups, and individuals; community education programs and materials; and clinical training for graduate students and other professionals who work with young people and their families.
